Paleo Christmas Sugar Cookies
Indulging in Christmas sweets is a must during the holiday season! You can easily enjoy these guilt-free sugar cookies that will surely be a hit at any party, too! You can decorate your cookies with sweet Christmas-themed designs with the yummy frosting as well.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz no sugar, no dairy paleo dark chocolate, melted
- 1 tsp of melted coconut oil
- ¼ tsp of dried cranberry powder
- 2 ¼ cups of almond flour
- ¼ tsp of baking soda
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup of maple syrup
- 2 tbsp of melted ghee
- 1 tbsp pure vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Line parchment paper on a baking sheet.
- Combine the almond flour, baking soda, and a pinch of salt in a bowl.
- Add in the melted ghee, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and egg.
- Mix well
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for one hour.
- Once chilled, roll the dough between two pieces of parchment paper ¼ inch thick.
- Cut the dough into your preferred cookie shape.
- Place the cookies on the baking sheet and bake for 8-12 minutes
- Remove them from the oven and let them cool completely
- Melt and mix together the dark chocolate, coconut oil, and cranberry powder
- Decorate the cookies with the melted chocolate how you desire
- Enjoy!
